Make sure youve at least registered the software but also try setting your connection tolerance (in red) to something like .010 and then click the clean button.

I use a recoil usb gamepad I picked up at Walmart for $12.00 I think it was. It works great but I don't feel comfortable leaving the machine up for extended periods with it hooked up. Sometimes it will creep in an axis and has cost me a few endmills  :( .  It has to do with the centering of the axis sticks and a slight temperature change can take them off center.

Brett

Brett,

Using a VB script, wouldn't there be a way to just toggle a gamepad/joystick on and off?

As a qucik fix, possibly just clicking the jog on/off button works for this?

lol, no problem but I had some trouble with your file anyway.

Try these, as they may work for you. No tools were used.

Is this how it looks in AutoCad to you, John?

I've tried loading into lazycam and but when I "clean" it, I get way too many extra circles.

Still playing with it.

Reason I ask you to post the dxf is because of the screenshot I'm getting of your elipse.

It's not very smooth at all.

What CAD are you using to draw?

Good question, Rich, I can not remember----  ???

Dave

EDIT: sorry, had a brain fart, I don't think there are any limitaions for LazyCam, you just won't get pocketing and offsetting without the Pro Version.

Thanks again for replying so quickly, Brett.

Here's a full screen for you to see  :)

It's definitely not for everyone but I love it  :D

John,

Can you possibly upload the LCAM and DXF files here so that someone can look at these for you?

Name them something weird like your screen name and some random numbers so forum will accept it.
