General Mach Discussion / Re: Mach 3 / lazy cam / tool table

Hello Simon,
You need to offset the path the rad of the tool in Lcam pro and you will not need to tell mach3 anything about the tool that you are going to use :)

General Mach Discussion / Re: homing not zeroing axis?

Please check that the machine coordinates are set to zero. It will not zero the fixture offset on homing.
Thanks
Brian

With a few fixture offsets it would not be to bad :)
I don't know who did that but it was not me ;)

The NoFRO on Q is the new one :)

and the override will work both ways...

In Quantum you would be corect :)
In Mach3 when you change the FRO you are changing time... so when you make a second shorter you are changing anything that uses time... for example Velocity will be twice as fast if you make a second happen in .5 sec. This will also change the Accel :( If you use the No FRO onQ that is telling mach 3 not to change time but to change time but to change how the TC's (Move vector in the buffer) are calculated and will take longer for the FRO to take effect..

that is a bit deep but it shows the problem :)

Hope it helps
Brian

You are getting a TON of noise in your system :( You will need to shield better or use the plasma from HyperTherm (on of the newer ones)

Could you program your code for a fast a bit faster :)

The more you up your FRO the more likely you are to have an axis fault :( So it would be good practice to start making your Feed rate a bit higher

The Remove redundant will get looked at and  we have a message out to the company that wrote the importing code about the splines :( We will have that in as soon as we get the fix :)

We are going to be doing a bunch of work to turn as soon as we have mill and plasma working :)

We are going to add MUCH more code to the turn section :) (Time is the problem at this point, and there are more people that use mill :( )

Thanks guys
Brian
