Title: Pokeys 57cnc and Mx3660
Post by: Avhb on November 25, 2021, 11:39:24 AM
Hi,
First time and a geriatric, and English is not my mother tongue so be nice
I have converted my mill to cnc using a Pokeys 57cnc and a 3 Axes motor driver (Leadshine mx3660.)
I opted to wire the limits and e-stop to the Leadshine and not the Pokeys. This is because the proximity switches requires more than 5 volts and the Pokeys runs on 5 volt logics.
My question is how do I set up the charge pump to read the limits and E-stop.
At the moment my motors do stop when I trigger a limit or E-stop, but Mach3 continues to run.
I believe the Leadshine raises or drops pin 15 on the DB 25 connector when a failure condition occurs.

I hope this is clear
