Yes Please test with a stop watch.. If you do a 8" move at 4 "/min it should take 2 min to make the move.. If that works out I think it is only the display. Please test this and I would also like to know if you are using a SS or the P Port.

Thanks
Brian

When you are setting a tool length offsets are you using a touch off plate?

I have tested this (he is running a SS) and I can see that the problem is in the data that I am getting back from the SS.. I think I need to talk to Greg to see if there is a better way to get this working. I don't like how I am getting the rate for each axis back..

The good news is that the axis are at the right speed! The readout is the problem... If you would like to test this you can do a move of 2 units and command 1 unit per min. The move should take 2 min (this is how I made sure your feedrates where correct)

Thanks
Brian

Hello Guys Dave contacted me and told me to look into this.. That darn Hood found a way to make it not work LOL.. I would like to know if any of you know what function in the brain is causing the error? I need to look into this and I am also looking into the errors that Ozzie has had with Probing. My goal was to get this out today but I don't see that happening if there is a brain problem :(

Thanks

General Mach Discussion / Re: MACH3 to EMC2

Hello Chris,
Best of luck, I don't use EMC and have no idea to help you with it.. I would contact them on the EMC mailing list that they have. They may be able to help you ..  I htink you will need to do some HAL work...

Thanks
Brian

I have chatted with Art about the 64 but driver and we are looking into changing how the driver works for this update.. So it is not that we are not working on it at this time, but that we are looking more into the future then just making "some little modification". The goal that I have for this update is to make it so I can have better real time interrupts for some of the higher speed apps that I am looking at such as Ether Cat and so on.. I also am looking to make the P Port into a plugin and removing it from inside of Mach3.

Thanks
Brian

General Mach Discussion / Re: G95 Lathe problem

Hood and I will be gutting all the G95 code and making it better :)  I am moving the feed calculator down a level so it is as close to the driver / external device as I can get it..

Thanks
Brian
