you can do what you want.forget buying a boring head, you have to build to match your machine.if you dont
have a way to line hone forget the whole project.when you cut caps and bore it need to be .0015 small then
hone to finish.you have to be able to hone to keep from spitting the bearing out.

try playing with your G90's on the first line of code.try G90.0 or G91.1

damn the math, the general direction of the concept was well put.

i am with you Hood, get the resolution done with the mechanical parts.that way you can put the motors on a full step.

that is one of the best descriptions of the pulse and a real good quick test.
the people that write the mach manual should use it.

when you change to standard pc that is what happens to the shutdown with xp.also you cant go back to apci without reinstalling windows.
have you played with the pulse width for the motors? have you tried sherlin mode?

that vid shows a air spindle that is turned on and off not a air coolant setup.he has a air solenoid setup that he switches on
and off as it runs through the code.

i do a 4 axis part that has to move off the centerline of x & y in order for it to work.
XYZA all have to be in motion to make the cut.it is a pretty neat looking cut when it is
finished.when you look down the nose it looks like the bow of a boat.

Hi Brian

i also use two computer setup.the design computer is the more powerful and the one for the mill that is set for mill only.both use the xml from the mill
computer.when i do a test run of a program on the design computer the completion time gets noted.then when i actually run the program on the mill the time
gets compared.the program always takes longer to complete when cutting.
