I have been playing playing with win 7-64.it is my new office machine.trying to migrate some of my 32 bit cad and design programs over to it .so
far so good with a lot of them.also put a copy of mach and lcam, the latest lockdown.they both seem to work ok with 7-64.the only problem
that i seem to have with lcam,is when i have a tap file opened in mach3 it wont load into lcam. lcam imports dxf and lcam files ok with win7-64 but not pull in the tap file that is loaded in mach.do you have any thoughts on this .

thanks bill

that post that you reference to where that person had the same problem as yours was to be done on the mill table.you want to do your part on a rotary table.two completely different things.L-cam does not do code for rotary axis .L-cam does 2d flat stuff not 3d.why do you want to cut that part on the rotary table.

maybe i do not exactly understand what you want to do.i downloaded your file and brought it into l-cam.origin is located bottom  left.
moved the origin to center with mouse.checked the two chains and the x0 y0 is centered to the drawing.if you did the code from that point
it would machine the part based on setting the tool to the center of the stock.is that what you would like to do,set x0 y0 to center of stock?

check your control power leads to your drivers.( both + -     ) it might be your 5 volt supply is cutting out or breaking down.

move your electric solenoid from the air supply to the trigger of the staple gun.this could help with the amount of time used to fire the gun.
it will make the action more positive and easier to control with code.this way you can control a relay for the trigger solenoid with the port settings for
the Z axis and g-code.it would get you some pretty good trigger speed.

have you tried running your program without any G00 moves in the code.
open your code with the text editor and change all of your g00 moves to g01 moves with
a speed a little faster compared to the feedrates in the code.this will help stable the code
while looking for problems.
