Did you use the same computer on the Kitchen table that you are on your machine? And if so, it didn't crash in the Kitchen?

You can add a button to the screen, and assign M5 to it, and set up an OEM trigger for the external switch.

You need to post the g-code from LazyCAM. The code should automatically load into Mach.

.Lcam files is just a saved version of your LazyCAM "project".

I think your right. I was in a hurry and didn't look closely enough. I was looking for Formatnumber, but didn't see it.

Is there some way to have the 4th or A axis take inches insted of degrees?  I have 2 programs that I used V-carve to design and Bobcad-cam to convert to A but all it does is change the Y to A but the value is still in inches needless to say that does not get the job done.

Can't you just set the axis up as linear? I guess it would depend on how the code is written, but it may work.

I don't think mach can use the parallel port when using an external motion control device.

Just about any processor should work with Mach3. There are two bios settings that may need to be disabled with newer PC's, though. Depending on the bios, look for C1E and EIST. you may not have both, though.
