When you power the board on you get a power led and a status led on? If status is off put 5V to EN connection.

You have board set for pins 2 - 9 as OUTPUT

You have the board set for common GND so then pins 2 and 3 go to stepper driver PUL+ and DIR+ and PUL- and DIR- go to COM on the board.

First thing to check is if you are getting a change in voltage on the Dir inputs on the drives, using the keyboard arrow keys you should see the dir change as you change axis direction.

Are you sure you have the clock and dir the right way round?

Try it like this:-

Port Setup & Axis Selection:
X Axis - Enabled Checked - Step Pin# 2 - Dir Pin #3 - Dir LowAction Checked  - StepLowAction Checked - Step Port 1 - Dir Port 1
Y Axis - Enabled Checked - Step Pin# 4 - Dir Pin #5 - Dir LowAction Checked  - StepLowAction Checked - Step Port 1 - Dir Port 1
Z Axis - Enabled Checked - Step Pin# 6 - Dir Pin #7 - Dir LowAction Checked  - StepLowAction Checked - Step Port 1 - Dir Port 1

Mach4 Plugins / Re: Mach4 Wizard issues

The spindle direction is all relative to the orientation of the tool in the turret, if the turret is at the back and the tool is facing up its CCW but if its a front turret and the tool is facing up its CW.

It all depends on the rigidity of the machine, most lathes cut better if the load is pressing the saddle on to the bed.  Lifting from the bed causes vibration and poor surface finish.

Mach3 and Mach4 run g-code that is produced by an external program.

What you want may have been done, you need to search the forum with key words.

M3 may need a S value e.g. S100 M3

My guess is its for lathe.

If its lathe you do not enter M6 only T0303.

Do you have encoder feed back on the spindle, are you working inch or MM program don't know.

You also need some feed commands (G01).
