   Had already checked all of that as well........
What we are thinking is that there is a Differential on the Ground Plane itself, the client will be looking at certain things at this point with a scope.
Per Greg's suggestion.  Even though the facility has an Excellent main, earth grounding system, My suspecion index is that noise is being injected into the
system from the VFD. I have suggested to use Induction filters, EMI plus RFI filters on the VFD. The Drop seams to be more fequent durning startup/stops of
the VFD. The SS is Opto Isolated from the Unit, except the Power supply.

Greg, is looking into the issue further, there may be something he can do on the SS board itself to eliminate the issue........

Having said the above, though, it still sometimes drops with out the VFD even running/stopping, so..........  Greg also said It could be a FTDI driver to motherboard issue..... which he has seen in the past as well that was doing what we are seeing here as well.
