Mach 3 Laser Gcode Resolution Issue?
« on: June 05, 2018, 10:13:37 PM »
Hi this is my first post on here because what I'm having trouble with is my raster laser softwares both export gcode and when I load any of them into Mach 3 they open and run fine but then once one of those files has been opened when I want to save a setting or close Mach 3 it crashes and gives me art error code 9991 and asks if i want to try to recover but it never does.
One thing I did notice is that the same gcode export at a lower resolution works fine, but is based on entire project size, for example, 30mm x 100mm image wont close without crashing at 5 lines/mm res but will close fine at 1 line/mm. At 150mm x 500mm the same 1 line/mm crashes upon closing.  Any idea why this would be?

There are a number of issues with version .066 and this may be one of them. Try using version R3.043.062 which can be downloaded from here; http://www.machsupport.com/software/downloads-updates/   (it can be installed over the top of your existing version).
