hello
i would like to ask for some help im new to cnc and im struggling to figure out a problem,i have a cnc 6040 router using a gecko g540 with a uc100 and a pc running windows 8,the promblem i have is if i load the road runner test gcode it shows normal in the toolpath screen and i can set the machine to run and everything is fine but if i load a gcode from fusion all the measurements are miles out as in the part is now larger than designed.the part is only 83mm diameter and 50mm depth but in mach3 it ends up almost the same size as the machine table?im at a loss any help you be much appreciated.
regards mike

Hi,
could it be that your machine is interpreting the Gcode as inches whereas the code is actually in mm. This would result in the part being 25.4 times to big.
Read up on G20/G21. They cause Mach to interpret Gcode in inches or mm respectively.
