« on: February 11, 2018, 08:48:01 PM »
Finally gots my 7x10 lathe converted to CNC!!!  :)
It's a used Harbor Freight from Ebay running with an old Dell Optiplex 980, Windows 10 Pro, 64 bit, Mach4 build 4.2.0.3663, PMDX-416 into a Gecko G540 n all that turns the screws that I got from Billy @ BDTOOLS. Makin some pvc parts for now for GEOCACHING.
Used the Mach4 lathe Turn Cycles n even testing out some threading. So far I'm liking what results its turning out!

Happy machinist... ;D ;D ;D

Looking good.

Mike
We never have the time or money to do it right the first time, but we somehow manage to do it twice and then spend the money to get it right.

Converted my 7x14 Microlux last year, same condition as yours (15 years old) and it looks like we're both using the same control box. I am using pmdx-411 and Mach4.  You will love the results using CSS.

Enjoy,
