Following top of sheet with Z

Can there be a way of following top of your sheet? I have to cut a 1/16” slot .080 deep in a flat sheet of PVC 4’ X 5’. With turn and lines. The sheet has a change of .003 to .006 in thickness. I need to try and hold .080 as close as I can.

Just a long shot

Look for a program called Autoleveler. It is normally used for PCB work but it may do what you want.

We never have the time or money to do it right the first time, but we somehow manage to do it twice and then spend the money to get it right.
