Wrong Motor Moving
« on: December 11, 2017, 10:52:28 PM »
Setting up new DSPMC controller with Mach4 - Latest firmware and plugins installed

X Axis assigned mMotor (0)
Y Axis Assigned Motor (2) as master, Motor(1) as slave
Z Axis assigned Motor (3)

All motors are controlled via Step/Direction

Here is what is happening. From the DSPMC Config screen,
 - select Motor(0), do a test motion for this motor. Motor(0) move as it should, but Motor(1) follows Motor(0)
 - Select Motor(2), do a motion test for this motor, Motor(2) moves, but Motor(1) does not.
 - Remove Motor 1 as Slave for Y Axis, do a motion test for Motor(2), no motion on Motor(2), Following error for Motor(1)

I have reviewed all configuration parameters and all looks OK

Any thoughts? Thanks,

Try this config:

X Axis assigned mMotor (0)
Y Axis Assigned Motor (1) as master, Motor(3) as slave
Z Axis assigned Motor (2)

Change DSPMC controller with one for another machine. Downloaded configuration and functions as expected. Re- installed original controller, did a factory reset, download configuration. Same issues as before. Motors will not follow assigned axis.
