Novusun, Win7 64 and Error 9991
« on: August 03, 2017, 08:25:24 PM »
I just bought a Novusun nvem ESS and put it on a Win7/64 computer. The nvem.dll plugin seams to be working, I can move all three axis. The problem I am having is motor tuning. I can go into Motor Tuning but when I leave I get error code 9991 and the program crashes. Does anyone know how to A: fix the error or B: Manually change the Motor axis values in a file so I don't have to go into Motor Tuning?

That error code is usually related to a plugin. You can test this by removing each plugin, one at a time, from your plugins folder, and trying to adjust your motor tuning. If you are able to finish your configuration without an error message, the plugin you have removed at that point is most likely your culprit.

Yes I know it is the NVEM.DLL plugin that is causing the error, your idea of changing the plugin worked. I can now edit the motor tuning files, of course now when I switch back to NVEM.DLL the motors will not move?? Has anyone got the Novusun controller to work?
