Mach3 and Homing/Limit Switches
« on: November 16, 2016, 08:02:39 PM »
Hello all,

I have searched and searched but seem to find no one with the same problem.

i attached homing switches to my machine and am trying to get them to communicate with Mach3.  I ran them in series and each switch will light M1, M2 and M3 in the Diagnostic screen.  When I press Reference All only the Z axis will home, it won't even try to move Y and X.  I can run programs fine with GCode and move any axis manually.  The only problem I am having is the homing problem.  I have all my ports and pins set up on pin 10 and verified that Mach sees the switches through Diagnosis.

Any ideas?  I have a tb6560 ahq board that seems to work fine.

Thanks,  I have been ready to throw the thing away I am so frustrated.

To clarify Z axis, it will hit the switch and then move off just a bit to turn out the M LED in Diag.  Then nothing happens, no errors, nothing.
