Newbie here. Why's this DXF no good for Lazycam
« on: May 27, 2016, 04:24:44 PM »
Hello!

I've been struggling off an on with supplying files that my metal artisan can use—sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. This dxf file is the latest file that he's having problems loading. Simply doesn't seem to work for him. If anyone can help me figure out what I'm doing all wrong, I'd be much obliged. I'm working in Adobe AI and exporting as dxf, and while the file looks good on my end, no bueno on his.

Thanks a bunch!  Pawl

Lazycam is an importer of ver 12 dxf files. All entities should be vectors. Not all dxf files are created properly from some programs.
Use a CAD program to create you files. "Etch A Sketch" just doesn't work very well for CAM programs.
That is why you are having problems.
