Tool Height with Pokeys
« on: July 17, 2015, 07:23:10 PM »
Hey all,

I have a Pokeys56U driving my router. I'm trying to get the automatic tool height script to work with it but it won't play nicely.

I've set the pin up correctly. Under the diagnostics tab the Digitize LED flashes on and off in sync with grounding the appropriate input, but it just will not work with the script.

With it open circuit, hence pulled high by the pull-up resistor I get the error: "No input setup for probing", but conversely if I short it to ground I get "Z-Plate is grounded. Check connection and try again." I can't win!

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks, Rob.

If you are using the probing feature, make sure that you have configured the probing input in PoKeys plugin, not Mach3 settings! Don't select anything in the Mach3 probing pin settings.
