I'm using Vcarve pro 6.504 as my CAD program to generate the G-Code. I recently upgraded to Win7 32 bit. I've installed everything to there default folders. I installed Mach3 Version R3.043.066 as an administrator. paste'd in my backed up XML files. Mach3 controls my CNC machine fine and if I manually load in the Vcarve's generated G-code it works fine. My problem is I normally start Mach3 and Vcarve at the same time. Then when I wish to run the CNC machine I simply save the code in Vcarve and check the box Output direct to machine, driver Mach. I select the Mach3 ARCS inch (or ATC) post processor. Then the code usually automatically populates in the G-code window in the Mach program and I'm ready to go. Now when I hit save in Vcarve, 2 windows pop up. First one saying "Failed to find data on installed version of Mach" then the next one "Failed to find a running instance of Mach". I did verify in the Device Manager that a Mach3 Pulseing Engine is running with a good driver or at least it says so. All I come up with in the forum's is that Mach3 didn't update the Win7 Registry during the install. HELP.... David C
