Scale problem
« on: October 21, 2014, 04:57:34 AM »
Hi,
i have a problem with my Mach3 and i cant find what is causing it,
i am using it with Cut2d and a CNCrouter parts pro 4848 machine.
Every job code i export from Cut2d it loads 10 times bigger in mach3, i have to scale all axis down to 0.1 to get the job in the right size.
I am using metric everywhere.
The problem is 100% identical to everything i export so it looks like a wrong setting somewhere but i cant find it.

Any ideas?

George

Hello and help,  I finally have the cnc hot wire machine running.  Problem is with scale, the parts are 12.56 times larger then the dimensions.  Any leads to fix would be much appreciated.....  Larry

1) Check that your Gcode file has a G20 or G21 (as appropriate) in the header.
2) In the Settings screen try the Axis Calibration feature – Set Steps Per Unit.
