Mobile CNC Router (Home Made)
« on: May 29, 2014, 08:48:02 PM »
I just ran my first project with this machine that I built specifically for Raster Carving. I put together an image using Gimp software, opened it up on my LinuxCNC computer to create G-code, then put the code on my Win XP computer running Mach3 and Raster carved it with my mobile router that I put together with parts from Inventables.com and buildyourcnc.com.

As the new Mach4 is going to come out I'll be looking for ways to turn raster images into G-code and constantly trying to get the machine to go faster and faster. I'll probably be looking for compatible drivers and USB boards to get it faster.
