Offset issues.
« on: January 02, 2014, 04:51:08 PM »
I'm having a few issues with getting offsets to work correctly using LazyCam and Mach 3 together. In the example file "Shapes.tap" there is an outline in the center of the design that is cut along, instead of the main solid lines. The outline is white, as opposed to the purple and blue that the other lines are colored. I assume this line represents an offset of some sort, but am not completely sure as any other offsets I've used (very simple, done in the Tool Information panel on the Program Run screen) have not created such a white line. Is this an issue with my offsets, or has the "shapes.tap" file been created differently? The test I am currently using is a circle that has been imported into LazyCam, with an offset set of 0.125. I have tried setting the offset to ridiculous size (1,000 units) and it has not created a white outline like in the "Shapes.tap" file. Any help would be appreciated, and I can provide screenshots upon request.

Have a read of the LazyCam Manual which can be found in Member's Doc's.

Post the gcode file and also the LC file.
