G-Code stops in Mach
« on: November 06, 2013, 11:50:58 PM »
This job file (and subsequent G-Code file) stops at line 30 in Mach with no explanation. I can single step thru it and it seems fine, but won't run.

Also-so far I've been running on a computer that isn't hooked up to the mill to check the code etc., but all through this process, the Mach DRO's don't show any changes as I mock run or single step thru the file. Is this normal for a setup that isn't actually connected to a mill?

Thanks.

I see no errors in the file, and it runs normally on my system, with no motors connected but properly configured.

You must have something not configured in your test system. Even without motors connected you should be seeing dros change as the file is run.

Be sure some motors are enabled in Ports and Pins. Right off I cant think of anything else that should do this.

I moved the xml file from the Mill to the other system and everything seems fine now.

Thanks.
