Another 2010 Screen Question
« on: April 17, 2013, 09:03:34 AM »
I am using 2010 and very satisfied it with it.  But do have a problem that someone may have the solution.  I just completed building a 4th axis and also just got a 3D probe.  The 2010 screen works perfect with my router profile.  I wished to create a two new profiles, one for the 4th axis and one for 3D digitizing.  I cloned the router profile to create each named "4th Axis" and "3D Probe".  When I open Mach using one of the new profiles, all opens fine with the 2010 screen, however the buttons, such as home, reference, buttons on x-y fly-out, etc. do not work.  If I close and reopen Mach in the router profile, all is OK.  What am I missing?

Did you copy all the macros over to the new profiles?

Whenever you create a new profile, a new macro folder is created for that profile. \Mach3\macros\yourprofile.
As John said, You'll need to copy the macros from \Mach3\macros\2010 to the macro folder for each profile you intend to use.

Thanks, did not copy over the macros.  Will do.  Thought, incorrectly, that they would carry over.  Thanks again for the help.
