Pokeys57cnc probe issue
« on: December 25, 2020, 09:29:33 AM »
Hello guys and Merry Christmas!!!!I have an issue with pokeys57cnc and Mach3.Trying to connect a touch probe and Im going crazy!I have connect one wire on the upper pin of limit switch connector (pin19 from the diagram) and the other at +5v,my board is Version 1.4 so as I see it doesnt need a pullup resistor.I made the settings in pokeys plugin from Mach 3 and the only im getting when i go to the Diagnostics tab of Mach3 is the Digitizing "led" blinking randomly.I also take a measurement of the physical pin19 on the board and its +5v without connecting anything. Please help!!!!   :-\

What is pin 19 set up to do in the pokeys config?

It should be a digital input.

I have set it up as a digital input.I think I have sold the issue but it still seems a little weird.Let me explain...First of all one wire to physical pin 19 (probe input) and the other wire at Ground without a pullup resistor as my board is V1.4.Then in pokeys plugin through Mach3 I set the input 19 as probe input in Pulse Engine Settings tab and also in PokeysMapping tab.The weird thing is in Diagnostics tab of mach 3 the Digitize Led blinks randomly  without doing nothing but the probe works. If I go to pulse engine tab and put none in probe input but let the pin 19 as probe in Pokeyw Mapping tab then in diagnostics the led works fine,on when I touch the two wires off when they dont touch, but the Probe doesnt work,mach3 shows a message "No probe input".

I did the same setup as you and programmed the "Auto Zero Tool" button. It works fine for me.

Check the link to a Youtube video. I followed the instructions, but did not install the sound part of his VB script.
