Hey Lemo,
I would love to see some of your 3d models...I believe that I can tell from your avatar that you use Z brush, I use it as well and have some good techniques for transferring the ZB model in to CAM/CAD programs.
312  Mach Discussion / General Mach Discussion / Re: Homing Z-Axis during G-Code process on: July 02, 2007, 01:36:39 PM
I belive in Mach 2 I had this problem with "Home" button where it would move all the axis at once, so the Z would scrap my part while the X and Y moved.
You can fix this by editing the button

Just what Brett said:

-Go to "operator"
-"Edit button Script"
-and press on the button

for "Ref All Home", this will move X, than Y, than Z, than A, and will wait for them to hit home before doing the next axis:

Add this if it's not there:

DoButton( 24 )
DoButton( 23 )
DoButton( 22 )
DoButton( 25 )

Also as Brett said:

check if you're Z Safty is on:

-"Config"
-"safe Z setup"
-Safe Z and Optional "Goto safe Z when Stop Button is hit"

You might need to create a Flash file in Mach's main directory and check to see that the two EXE's are in it for the Remote connection depending on what vertion of Mach you are using.
The updated Mach should have this already...make syre you are using the latest vertion of Mach

Here are the source file for Sothink and Flash: http://www.artsoftcontrols.com/forum/index.php?action=post;board=36.0

Check out the video "Mach 3 Reloaded": http://www.artsoftcontrols.com/forum/index.php?topic=2571.0
or

If anything isn't working please provide the correct code or Mach OEM code, what platform your using and machine spec's if needed.

Thanks

Great way to modify Mach using either Sothink or Flash you can put together complex screens.
Video is 30mins: http://alphagraphicdesigns.com/Help.htm

Greg,
Great screen, simple and to the point. I really like the idea of icons and vibrant colors.
This will work well on small touch screens.
Look forward to seeing the .set file

Greg,

I dont think that there is any otherway to get the "Feedhold" call from Mach till Art reactivates those.
Hopfully in the next update those LED's will be active again.
318  Mach Discussion / Mach Screens / Re: Two State Buttons? on: June 10, 2007, 09:06:04 PM
Greg,

Mach needs an image there for the button to work correctly.

If you notice in "Simple screen" that the LED intermittently works, that is because I had no image for the buttons.

The work around is to load a transparent image.

You can create your own or use the one provide below.
Just drop that in you bitmap folder and load it for your invisible buttons that are over the "LED buttons".

Mach needs something for a place holder for them to work, that is why you have to use a"clear" image over the LED.

Also check that the button is ontop of the LED in Screen 4  Grin

Wes,
Thanks for the explanation,
"cleans the bottom of a blind hole" I can see how that can be very important.

Wes,
Cool thanks,
Just wondering what would be the usages to dwell in milliseconds?
What kind of operations use such fine tuning? Just wondering?
