Title: Screen 4 freezing

Hello,

I am attempting to map a few hot keys in Mach3 to some screen buttons in screen 4. Every time I open screen 4 and click on file to load the 1024 set the program locks up and stops responding? Has anyone had this problem and do you know how to fix it? Actually if you click on anything in the top tool bar the program locks up? If i double click on the screen set I can open it in screen 4 and edit it but if I hit file to save it locks up?

Any help here would be really appreciated,

Hi Jeff,

I don't have a solution for Screen4, but you could set your hotkeys with MachScreen.

Use the row below the top row, which starts with FILE I think,  to open and save files, screen sets or create a new screen these all work as they should, until a solution resolves this problem.  I sometimes forget and hit one of those buttons and it locks, the solution is to use ALT+F4 one time and it will unlock shortly afterward

This is a common problem with Screen4 and the only way i have figured out to fix it is to install Machscreen and use that program rather than Screen4
