Hi everybody

The demo plugin for 5 axis kinematics is finally available.

somes limitations:
     - 100 lines of gcode in the editor
     - limited to 5 tools in the tool manager
     - the origin of the part is not saved after leaving mach3

Tested with Nvidia Geforce GTX960 et Nvidia GeForce 520M
I await your feedback to correct any bugs.

for people who do not have bug and are interested can posted me a message.

two version will be available : - 5 axis version
                                                 or
                                           3-4 axis version( for simulation only)

I forgot, I know we can use mastercam, topsolid, solidcam etc... for milling avec mach3, but through this plugin, we can curb our workpiece regardless the pivot point and just probe the workpiece.. I will explain it in a future tutorial with a mastercam postprocessor for example and if we want milling in 5 axis cheaper, just with cambam or heekscnc in positioned mode.

Otherwise I expect your test Returns..

could someone tell me the difference between these solutions :

1- Mach3 + 5 axis CAM sofware
2- Mach3 + kinematics plugin
3- Mach3 + 5 axis CAM sofware + kinematics plugin

a specialist ?   ;D

Very nice work. This gives me one more reason to finish up all of my outside work so I can concentrate on my machines this winter.
 I can't wait until it is available for download and testing.

The final version of the A/C table-table 5 axis plugin will be available soon.
some fixes and improvements have been made.

It will be followed by a beta B/C rotary head.
Test OK by a guy, so that it was a good new for me.

Hi
I downloaded the plugin from http://mach3fiveaxis.top-eb.fr/ last week to try it out.
As soon as I run it from the Plugin Control it just crashes Mach3. Does any one else have this problem?
I have tried on 2 different PC's and they both crash.
I am running Mach3 on Win7 and that is working fine.

Hi Paul,
On win7, you  can try to run it in winxp compatible mode.
But this is an older version (the first). Since some errors have been fixed  but it have not been put online for downloading.

Thank you for your interest, it's important for me.

About A/C table version, currently in stand by because the B/C head version is in development and it take a lot of time. After i will return to A/C version.

The good new about the B/C head version, it should be available in few days. The time also to add one or two pages on my website becouse there are some things to show.

As the head is tiltable it was necessary to remake movements in the tool axis.
To know

- Movements in the perpendicular plane of the tool axis with display of the position of the tool tip in this plan
- Movements in the no perpendicular plane of the tool axis with display of the position of the tool tip in this plan
- Drilling cycles : G81 G82 G83 G99 G98
- Tool length compensation G43
- Tool radius compensation  G41 G42 in perpendicular plane of the tool axis
- enable RTCP G43.4
- disable RTCP G49
- Display Toolpath in the simulation screen
- Display Toolpath with G41 G42
- Offset of the origin in the work plan (perpendicular plane to the tool axis or no perpendicular plane to the tool axis)
- Label, subprogram call by label, label loop, loop and  imbricated loop
- MDI commands
- Editor
- Tool library
- Simulation with different forms of tools : cylindrical, spherical, conical, dovetail, T slot.

So, all in details, soon on my website.

Hi,
I Back for some news. Since last week, after an idea, i am modyfing the plugin (the simulator part), because some times i had some error messages and a slow simulation when the size of the block increase. Now, and it's very nice becasue, no error messages, we can have a big size of the block and an increase of the speed of simulation (x10 visibly  ;D). I finish the implementation, and the time to make a new video of the modification and a real milling, i could finally posted the demo plugin for downloading.

Sorry for the delay, but a error took me a long time to solve the problem. I think freeze for a few people or impossibility of executing the Plugin.
Now it's ok and demo version have been updated and will be available this night.

for people download the demo version, if you run this plugin on a windows x64 and you get a crash (this plugin do not run on a windows x64) , this is the procedure to solve it :

Don't hold your breath waiting, a working model was never released and the plugin was never proven to work (by a third party) so it may just be an elaborate hoax.

this a video of the new release of the plugin in progress, scheduled for next month, time to finish my new table to test it and update my website too.

Here are 2 videos, just to show simulator part. The first is to show in same time the building of a 4 axis machine,
and the second a 5 axis simulation with a BF46, BF30 etc.. type machine.
