To Rufi,

Hello, I am planning a Mazak retrofit, but I am stock in one issue, I need a 6V/1000 rpm signal from the servo motor to the servo drive (a tachometer dc signal), Can dspMC/IP send that signal to the servo drive, using the encoder input, and send also the command signal of +-10V at the same time? This is a 4 axis machine, and I need this in all axis.

Thank You,

Jorge

hello Jorge,

this feature as you know is normally done in the hardware by tachomemeter.  sorry the DSPMC software is not designed to convert encoder counts to analog signal.  you can easily do that in hardware.

regards,
Rufi
