Mist On / Off LED
«
on:
August 22, 2008, 11:20:47 PM »
Hi All,
I'm new here and just began using Mach3. I'm presently attempting to add a Mist On/Off LED using Screen4.
I got it all done, but can't get the LED to light. - (OEM 12)
I've looked for a different LED OEM number, but that's the only one I can find.
Can anyone help??
Thanks, Al

:)Hey Al,
Is this on a running machine ? Do you have the coolant set up in the configuration ?
If you put a button on the screen like below, does the LED work ?

Hi RC,
Yes, I did that, but the LED still won't light up. Everything else works correctly. I'm unsure of what else to do now.

Hmmmm.......Wish I could help further.
Some of the GURU's will chime in shortly.
Good luck Al,

Al, here's a screen shot of screen 4 opened to show you how mine is setup. If you look just left of the dialog box you can see my flood button with the little LED inside the button (not lit up). Hope this helps!

Do you have an output set up for mist? You need to configure an output pin, and assign it to mist on the spindle tab of the ports and pins screen.

Hi Ger,
That's where I seem to be having my troubles. I'll have to play with it some more and see if I can't find the right settings.
