Quadrature motor outputs

We could benefit from a quadrature output option rather than step/direction. I've seen the post on the MaxNC output, but the I/O configuration of that setup doesn't meet our needs. How much work would be involved to make that an option for each motor output?

This option is avalable in the Smoothstepper
So if you would like to have the Quadriture output please look at
