 Dear all G100 user!

 Hi! I'm Kris.

I'm using MACH3 with G100. And I have some problem.

First I can launch firmware load when Grex shows me red light.
And I can ping Grex always. 0% loss. So I'm sure I have static IP adress.

But after motor tuning in Mach3, I always see error message as attached file.
I did searched all topic about "ecode=777", "ecode=790" and "ecode=813".
And I tried all firmware and plugin I can get. (But I'm not sure I have right...)

Does anybody know about this problem?

 Please help me~~~  Wink

Kris, how is your G100 connected to the network? Is it through your PC on a second network connection with the first network connection being your internet connection? If so, are you using a crossover cable to connect the G100 to its network connection? What is the IP address of both network connections?

Have you looked at the manual? It may help. Here is a link.  http://www.machsupport.com/docs/G100_Set_Up_Guide_Rev.1_9-19-07.pdf

Think you will have to be able to get the Grex to the net to be able to upload the firmware.

Thanks Brett!!

But...
Even Grex isn't connected to the net, but I can download the firmware and upload it, isn't it?

Please let me know which plugin and firmware is right one.

Best regard.

The links in the set up guide should point you to the latest plug-in and firm ware. Will confirm net acces to upload firm ware but pretty sure you'll have to have an internet connection to do it. Been a long time since I did that.  Tongue

I don't think you will have to have an internet connection to update the firmware but you will have to have the communication with the PC haveing mach and the plug-in installed in place.

No, I don't think so. You can connect the G-100 direct to PC with a crossover cable.
