Question about Mach 3 trial version

I just had a simple question about the trial version of Mach 3 I downloaded the other day. I was doing some test pathes just to get a feel for the software and I notice that when I post a G-code file, no mater the size, in lazycam and I open it in Mach 3 I have a segmented cutter path. It leaves gaps in the line of the path. Is this due to the fact It is only the trial version, or am I doing something wrong?
