This screen set incorporates an idea I had while working on a project. It is not fully functional

What I found is that my brain, no matter how many times I use Mach 3 just can't handle seeing everthing at once. My eye's start bugging out of my head when switch from one page to another. What I figured is that my eyes's and head want to process everthing on the screen at once, I find my self looking for a button I routinely use everday. Embarrassed

So what I thought would be of use is to use containers and panel's.
Thought I'd share this so others can use the idea.
One thing to metion is that it is a complex task to set up page for all of the diffrent variable possibilities of open/closed panels, but I believe this is a good consept that would benefit many. I believe that I'll be able to fit all of Mach 3 controlls on two pages without looking cluttered.

This is a test screen and as of now can only:

G-Code Load/Close/Edit/Start/Stop/Pause/Play/Hold

On Line/OffLine (Power amp LED)

E-Stop (Womens Head)

Simulate is a panel

MDI is a panel

*Place the Panels folder into Mach 3\Bitmaps

I cant get the screens to load. I have tried all directory locations.
Can you please tell me what dirs you designed in.

Personally I like to push the design barriers a bit too, and have copped a load of flack for doing so.

That head will earn you a heap of fallout, trust me on this. Smiley

Benny,
I thought it might be nice to look at a pretty women while I worked and her eyes get red if I make a mistake Grin
I used Poser and a picture of my wife for the E-stop model, I also have used this same model for a custom guitars design.

The "E-Stop Head" will not be in the final Screen, thought it intresting to give idea's to other screen desighners Grin

The "Panels" folder should be in "Bitmaps" and the "Panels Beta.set" should be in "Mach 3" folder.

Inside of the "Panels" folder should only have one "Leds's" folder and 8 PNG's.
If it doesn't work I'll check it out.Let me know Grin
