Hello help for a new user,

Sorry for my (German) English. But let’s try. I have a gecko g-100 and three g-340 and want to drive three DC-servomotors.

I have now several questions:

-   The motors have incremental encoder A+B channel outputs to what unit I have to connect them?
-   The G-100 power connection +24DC, USB and +5V is for what?
-   Is somewhere a wiring diagram available?Any example would nice to get and would be helpful.
-   Can I use two encoders per axis, for example one encoder motor to the g-340 and one encoder from the axis spindle to the g-100?

Many thanks in advance

Arnold

The Encoders need to be hooked to the G340's

The 24+ is the +common for the inputs. and the common is powers by the 12V power supply

Look at the YahooGroup GeckoDrive and in the files section you will find more info on how to hook up the Grex

Hook the spindle encoder to the C axis on the G100

Hope that helps
