Hi, Tom

Hold down your Shift Key and press an arrow key, Is it faster ?

Mach installs with a Feedrate set to 6 in a minute, Look on the Program Run screen and click on the Feedrate DRO type in 100 then enter, Now Hit the TAB key and click on the Slow Jog Rate DRO type in 100 then enter.

This will set you up for 100 in min with 100% of that for jogging, Not sure whether youll be able to go that fast, Just a start.

Look at some of the videos hear,  http://www.machsupport.com/videos/

Ask your questions on the General Mach Discussion section, Probably get faster answers there.

Hope this Helps, Chip

Hi Guys...

Question about Sherline... I have a Sherline, but with a third party stepper motor system (Low cost CNC retrofit) I have the machine set up and dialed in with a dial indicator for distances, however when I run a program, the x axis is not accurate in running the program. the x axis drifts allot..... Should I use the Sherline pulse setting to correct this drift??? I have checked the mechanical, they are fine, and the travel is dead on when I jog in .100" steps.. Even the backlash is set dead on when using the dial indicator.. Any suggestions?? I'm running X axis at 10 IPM is that too high??

Help...
