I know I have seen this a bit on other posts,so sorry for bringing this up again,
The problem I have is that grex is giving the stepper drives and then inturn the stepper motors IE,abnormal, inconsistent erratic
pulse and direction signals ,with mach 3 at idle,as I see by faint flickering pulse and direction Leds
on the grex when this happens.
I am using a relatively new laptop with bare bones operating system and figure it cant be the laptop as I disconnect the
ethernet cable when the problem starts and  the problem continues!!!!

I have isolated the grex from power wires, control box etc and still problems.
It happens on one axis then you cant jog the axis and then starts on another
So to start with does anyone have any ideas I could try. I am open to anything (like a 20Ib hammer)!

I did a fresh install of xp/mach3 using both licenced versions mach and G100 plug in which are R3.037(mach) and V3.037(g100).

Any help suggestions would be great
Regards

I think I found the problem,

Attached  the old control wires to the GREX ,the ones that came with the stepper drivers
connected them up ,and what do know .....no more drama`s.

So somewhere along the line I have stuff up soldering new control wires
as there must of been  earthing going on somewhere
Well here is hoping.
