I guess I had a cerebral vapor lock when I gave them my email address with a typo. All is good now, thanks.

Hi
Someone mentioned a company or web site with a name like IPStylus or similar that sells a replacement stylus.
But I cannot find it again.
Help please?

Cheers

I am interested in your touch probe.  Every modestly priced touch probe I have read about sticks eventually.

What have you done to reduce, cure, or eliminate sticking?

What size tips do you have for your probe, and what is your current price?

Is there any backlash or noticeable inherent error in the probe itself?

What kind of procedure does it require to get it setup?

Can your probe be used for edge finding or is it strictly a vertical probe?

I think the probe is pretty accurate, accurate enough for the things that I do.
My problem is not with the probe but what you do with the point cloud data. I have beeen very slow at learning due to extreme time constraints.  I dabbled with some software and didn't really get anywhere.
I would love to see a demo on how to use the point cloud data in a reverse engineering way.
I know that it could be used directly to Mach as code but I need to get it out and edit it then create a tool path.

Seems to have some good info.  Not point by point tutorial though.

I have been making these now for 5 years and have had great comments back from the users.
I use mine on a regular basis, mainly for finding the center of holes.

To order contact me at aminear@wyomingwireless.com
beware of knock-offs

Do you supply cnc4pc.com? That is where i purchased mine from.

for replacement parts and stylus's i will shoot you an email. Can't wait to test it out!

Do you suggest any software that can take the points and turn the points into anything usable? Surface, solid, etc.
