Hello All, what hardware I/O-board or PLC for TCP or Serial Modbus is available and
where could I buy it? I was watching the new videos about Brains and Modbus
and I want to try it.

I think it is Peter Homan that has the MOD I/O board. PLCs, lots to choose from. Automation direct is a good place to start looking for those. Look at the DL06. There are lots of options, these are just a couple.

Thanks Brett,
So it should be possible to use Homann MC-01 Mod I/O with the Brain instead of writing
macro pumps and if I don't need the plc functions in for example DL06?

Smiley Good job Scott. You got a part number or a link to that Ethernet module?

H0-ECOM-100

is the name of the module, I recommend getting the manual that goes with it, and also upgrade to the latest release of Net3, and Directsoft5 from Host Engineering.

Remember also, to use a cross over cable if going direct from Pc to PLC, if you use patch you will have to have a hub/switch.

Hi Roger,

The ModIO will work fine being driven via Brains. Should be no different than from MacroPumps, other than the different representation of the brains and the functionality they offer.
