Quantum on Vista... Go or no go?

I ran Quantum on my Vista PC and got no movement from the cnc machine.  I looked at following Art's instructions to make Mach 3 work on Vista (which is does, just fine), but there's no 'drivertest' in Quantums folder, so I cant follow the Mach/Vista directions.

I was also quite lazy and copied the mach3 xml over to the Quantum folder and picked that on load-up.

Anyone?  Smiley

Hello brian.

So the current Quantum is going to be totally scrapped...  Not building on the existing platform??

What is the timeframe for a New Quantum.  Honestly I think you guys should be directing all of your efforts on this as I believe it will greatly increase your market in the commercial area...

We have been using Q for nearly a month now and I definitely woouldn't go back to the old Mach3....

looking forward to a Q launch.

cheers
