I tried Quantum yesterday for the first time. I was able to increase my X axis IPM by nearly 20%. Y and Z by about 15%. I easily doubled the acceleration.
I proceeded to cut some of my parts. I have cut at least 1500 of these parts out of Lexan with Mach 3. Good results.
With Quantum, I seemed to actually be getting more jerk action. I dialed it all back down to where it is stable in Mach 3 and I was still getting jerks in spots. Usually on arcs. I tried the smoothing from 1000 to 2400 and noticed no difference.
Anyone aware of something I might be doing wrong?
