Hi Hood nice to hear from you I bought a 9.5mm for my 3/8 cutters off ebay and found out that DK20 range are the same except for the length, I bought one again off ebay and made a new locking nut with a 5mm sholder which has solved the problem. Jim

I bought some recentl;y, cant remember if they were supposed to be DA or DK but I am sure they are the same as I already have so must be DA. The numbering of the DA's are weird, DA200 is smaller than DA100 but DA180 are bigger than both Grin

Hi Hood yes they are numbered in a strange way, The only difference between DA200 and DK20 is the length, the DK is 5mm shorter unfortunatley its the business end the double angle end so you need a different locking nut. My collet holders are BT35 which is half way between the international 30 and 40 range, a Denford oddity bought from the USA. So the locking nut is 3/4 UNF and the only large tap I had was a 3/4 UNF (lucky a) so made a new nut and case hardened it. I only take small cuts in MS, Brass and Aluminium so hope it holds OK. Remember you telling me it never rains in Eastern Scotland so coming up in my motorhome and touring the area this summer before you become another country and I need a passport. Jim

Ha ha dont think I would have been foolish enough to say that it never rains however the East Coast and particularly the Angus coast is amongst the driest places in the UK. Now wind, well thats a different story, plenty of that here and its not all emanating from the mouths and other orifices of the people Grin

Ok Hood been to the west coast several times, but the midges and the rain always seem to get me. I will try the east this year, did the Aberdeen area about 10 years ago but that was on the way back from touring the top of Scotland and the Isles. By the way as you can see Angel Tec might solve my problem with the collet. Jim
