How does your machine currently move? Z+ should be the tool moves away from the bed.

If I use the jog console the buttons are backwards and now i'm so tired I'm not sure the X&Y are correct     but -x moves to the left and -Y moves to the column or away from the operator  standing in front of the machine .
Thanks Dave

Z+ moves the tool away from the bed , X+ moves to the operators right and Y+ moves away from the operator with the operator standing in front of the machine.

Ok i must need some sleep just took a few minutes in the hot tub and reread my post.
So my X travel is correct -X moves to the left and +X moves to the right.
Y is not correct my Y + moves to the operator standing in front or the machine.
and Z is also backward  with   -Z is up + Z down
