Im retrofitting milltronics partner 7 , using original servo drives, and spindle drive , using galil dmc1842 ,icm2900 opto ,my first question estop is in line with overtravel switchs , it originally shut down the drive power, coolant  and spindle. is this the direction i should follow. originally bought camsoft package but they want 1500.00 for license fees to give help since i left this project set for 2 yr. now i think about using mach3 to control galil 1842 directly or through icm2900.
can anyone give me some direction to begin. thankyou john Huh Huh Huh

I do it that way and have a button on my panel that links out the open switches lack of signal so that I can enable Mach again and jog off the switches.
