I have for sale my Boxford 300VMC a rare machine to find , it has been converted to run on Mach3 , it has a 6 position auto tool changer which is operated through the D0-06DR plc which was programmed by the very knowledgable and helpful Hood , it is in perfect working condition and is only for sale to my very poor health , it comes with 15 toolholders all with pull studs cost  in excess of £1000 an industrial 15" touch screen again cost in excess of £1000 and of course the computer , the front panel fitted to the front is run by a Pokeys board and all the buttons etc. operate the obvious things , max rpm is 4000 , it is also fitted with 4 stepper drivers and I do have the Sherline 4" rotary table that is included in the sale , for all the specs of the machine itself if you go to www.boxford.co.uk you will find what you need to know there , the auto tool changer does require compressed air to operate so bear that in mind , coolant and auto lube of slide ways is also fitted , machine weighs around 500kg and can be loaded onto trailer or pick up truck , delivery could be arranged at a price , machine has a CNC4PC breakout board fitted.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS ONLY AVAILABLE IN THE UK.
If interested please PM me , price wanted is around £4500 but this is negotiable
Thanks
Alan

Yes afraid so I bought it from a company called Lamonde Automation Ltd , go to this website http://www.lamonde.com/acatalog/ATLAS_Industrial_PC_monitors.html and look for yourself part number AMT1500T , including the dreaded VAT the cost was £1156-27p

Looks to be a "Storm" IP65 rated keyboard, also. Very rugged.

Forgot to say that there are 4 chucks (3 jaw) of various sizes and a vacuum table (230mm x 135mm) which also go with the machine  and a couple of machine vices , and in answer to Sam , yes it is a storm keyboard which also goes with the machine , thanks for the kind words Hood , I'm at the age when things go wrong and it seems such a shame to see the machine just sitting there collecting dust ,

Dear Alan,
I am very interested in picking this up; I have had my eyes on it's little (little) brother the 190VMC for some time now. I just need to sell the current mill pronto, and make some more space. A step up to a bigger machine which has been converted to such a high standard would save me a fair bit of time. Smiley

I have a few questions:
1.) Can the machine top be removed easily from the cabinet or are they welded as one?
2.) Where in the UK are you based?
2.) Does the machine do rigid tapping as is?
4.) I have read very conflicting sizes in the documentation available; could you confirm the physical size of the machine please?

Best Regards,
Daniel

Hi Daniel
easy part first I am based in North Norfolk around 20 miles from Norwich

1) The machine is all in one not a base and a top cabinet.
2) Yes the machine can do rigid tapping although I have only used it for this once.
3) Overall machine size is as follows , Height = 1610mm , Width with computer table 1850mm without table 1320mm and the Depth at widest is 800mm
If you want to discuss in more detail send a mail to alanblackmun@live.co.uk and I will give you a contact number.
The specs in picture are basically the same as mine , the size of overall cabinet is slightly different.
Thanks
Alan
