Hi. I'm so close to finishing my CNC now but i have one or two issues.

I have a UIM2901 Breakout board which seems to indicate it can control spindle speed. However I am unsure how to attach it to an inverter/VDF I have (Manual Included in attachments)

I've tried posting at CNCZone but have yet to get a reply.

Can anyone here help?

If it is not possible to control through the Breakout board and hence Mach would it be possible to make a simple on off switch and maybe a potentiometer speed controller?

Thanks

(UIM2901 Manual http://www.zappautomation.co.uk/pdf/UIM2901%20Mach3%20BOB%20110718.pdf)

(Inverter/VFD Manual Here: http://chinafutai.net/en/infoview2.asp?id=4 File is around 14MB)

BOB manual says it has PWM  spindle control, have you tried hooking it up?
Not looked a VFD manual but it will have an input for 0-10v and also a couple of inputs for Fwd/Rev.
