But I AM CONFUSED. If this is turn and you have a manual tool changer and a manual spindle what is the need for this routine. If it is the same tool then the cam should have just programed on through without a tool change.

If it is a tool change needed you have to manual do it anyway SO the standard manual tool change routine in mach should do what you need.

It's no big deal, but what happens is when I run multiples of the same part, using only one tool, at the beginning of the program I call tool one and I was looking to skip the tool change sequence to avoid having to press cycle start more then once. I know I could just take out the tool change but I like to keep in there to be safe.

All that it requires, is me to press cycle start twice. Once to go to the tool change position, and another to actually start the program. If it can't be done, then so be it. I just had an idea the other day when I was watching it make chips.
