Thank you for welcoming me to this forum.  I've used Mach3 on my CNC Router for about two years now. 

I've recently upgraded to a new desktop computer (Windows7, unfortunately), and when trying to run Mach3 it states "VB Failure.  Check System".  What does this mean?

Probably related, I have not been able to get Mach3 to control the CNC.  Mach3 states that the Com Port 1 is not open or active, but the operating system says it is.

Is your W7 32 or 64 bit?

May be permissions issue, best post on the Vista part of the forum as I think thats where W7 issues are also talked about.
