Hi I have just aquired a sharp LQ104s1dg21   10.4" colour  screen.
I would like to use it in my mill enclosure.the problem is im not sure on how to wire it up,there are plenty of pdf's with the pin outs on one of which i have attached, and i am assuming its vga or svga?
could some one please have a look into this and point me in the right direction?
  Thanks in advance

Hi Tony,

I am sure it can be done but it is really a job for an electronics engineer. The necessary signals are available from the PC graphics chip but the signal levels need to be checked prior to connection to the screen, get it wrong and damage to the screen or PC could occur.
In my opinion, in this instance, the risk is too high for 'trial and error' type electronics.

forgot to mention its an ecopy touchscreen monitor and i think you can only run the screen with the appropriate pci/agp card, apparantly.Wether it can be hacked or not i dont know. it would be absolutly perfect for the application if it could.
