2 machines 1 pc

I have a question? Is it possible to control 2 cnc machines from 1 pc? Not at the same time. Do I create two separate profiles for each machine? Thanks

Air2gnd,

I use one PC that runs a lathe and a mill and since I have two profiles for the mill I would say yes to your question.

To make even more useful I use the same stepper drives, same PC, same IO board.  To control the steppers I use a DT4P switches.

My PC and controller sits on a movable cart since the machines are located in different places but you could use a switch box if stationary.
Each machine has a profile since they are all different.
